Honk Out Privacy Policy
The short version: We don't collect your personal data. Honk Out has no accounts, no analytics and no servers of our own, and your progress stays on your device. The game shows ads from Google AdMob, and Google collects some data to show and measure those ads, as described below.

What the game saves on your device
To remember where you are, the game keeps a small save file on your phone. It holds:
- your progress: the level you're on, your coins, your boosters, your best combo, and whether you've solved today's daily puzzle
- your daily bonus streak: which day you last collected it and how many days in a row
- your settings: sound, music, vibration and colour shapes, and whether you've seen the how-to-play pages
We never receive this file. If you use Android's backup, Google may include it in your device backup under your Google account, so your progress can move to a new phone. Uninstalling the game, or clearing its storage in your phone's settings, deletes it from the device.
What we collect
Nothing. We don't run accounts, analytics or servers, and we can't see who plays or how. We don't sell personal information.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
The game shows three kinds of ads, all provided by Google AdMob:
- A banner at the bottom of the home screen. It doesn't appear during a level or on the how-to-play pages.
- Rewarded video ads, only when you choose to watch one, for example to get an extra pickup spot, refill a booster or double your coins.
- Full-screen ads between levels, from level 10 onwards, at most every third level, and never right after you lose a level.
Google AdMob is responsible for the data it collects. To show ads, measure them and prevent fraud, the Google Mobile Ads SDK in the game collects and processes:

The game asks Google only for ads rated suitable for general audiences.

Your choices
- European Economic Area, United Kingdom and Switzerland: Google's consent form appears before any ad is requested, and you choose what Google may do. You can change your choice at any time in the game under About and licenses → Privacy options.
- Personalised ads elsewhere: you can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalised ads, in your phone's settings (for example Settings → Google → Ads, or Settings → Security and privacy → More privacy settings → Ads, depending on your phone).
- Your rights: depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data, or to object to its use. We hold no personal data about you; for data held by Google, use the tools in your Google account or contact Google. You can also write to us and we'll help where we can.
Permissions
- Vibrate, for short buzzes when vehicles honk and leave. You can turn it off in the game's settings.
- Internet and network state, so Google AdMob can load ads.
- Advertising ID, used by Google AdMob as described above.
The game doesn't ask for your precise location, contacts, camera, microphone or files.
Children
We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. The game asks Google AdMob for ads rated suitable for general audiences only. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the game, contact us and we'll help remove it.
Security and retention
Because we don't collect personal data, we don't store or keep any. Data collected by Google AdMob is sent over encrypted connections and kept under Google's retention policies.
Changes to this policy
If a future version of Honk Out changes what data is collected, we'll update this page before that version is released and change the date at the top.
